My scholarship investigates the intersection of disability, immigration, and inequity with implications for child health providers. I emphasize policy relevance and clinical intervention.
Clinical practice
I am a public health nurse supporting young children and their families with mental health needs. My clinical practice emphasizes patient centered, collaborative, and culturally respectful care.
Teaching
I use contemplative pedagogy and active learning approaches to create challenging and accessible learning environments. My teaching centers diverse perspectives and evidence-based application.
